An attempt to organize the chaos of a long neglected webserver.
Well well well. There is finally actually something worth a damn here. While the site is still inoperable (the links on the side all go to the same place) I do have something I wish to host here.
It is a Counter-Strike: Source map. It has actually been done for quite a few months but I thought it was lost. Well "done" is not the correct term but it is the best I will get. I lost the editing files for it in a reformat so I cannot really finish what I wanted to do with it. However, the last build of the map was after a round of optimization and the map was structurally complete. Check it out here.
Cardboard Hookers makes no sense, what-so-ever. Sure it brings to mind a rather odd image. Processed pieces of tree that will accept money in exchange for sexual favors. However, that is not what is really going on here.
Actually it is much less interesting (here, not the hookers). At the moment Cardboard Hookers is two things: A testing chamber for my web design skills (or lack thereof), and an index for all the content (mine and others) jammed onto this server I pay $5 a month for.
Hopefully, if I do not get frustrated and quit, it will evolve into something more. I have had many ideas for it in the past and I am sure more will follow, with such a killer address it feels like a waste not to use it to better mankind.
